Mom's Hands

My Dad is the third child in a family of 6 children. He grew up in the province of Montreal, Masbate. As an adult, he waited for all his siblings to settle down before he married my mother. His nieces and nephews grew up with him and they call him, “Aco”. Aco in Chinese, is uncle. He always likes kids around .

Dad graduated with a course in BS – Optometry in Letran College. He was a working student: a T-shirt salesman, a traffic policeman, among others. He even ran for the mayoral candidacy in his hometown.

Daddy managed his own rag business at home, buying and selling. He was such a visible father at home. My childhood is so complete with my Mom and Dad consistently present with us. As a little girl, I recall having many people work in our backyard. They were sowing rags for my Dad’s…

Snacking Family

Enjoying snacks when we have our family devotion, movie time or simply bonding at home. I can see the smiles from my kids’ faces 😀  and ofcourse from hubby, too!

SMORES! We used giant marshmallows, a few pieces of dark choco chips and bake them in the oven for a few minutes. Scoop the oozing chocolate & crusty soft mallows with graham crackers.

Choco Pana Cotta with cream! Non-fat milk cooked with dark choco chips, some sugar & jelly powder, pour in cups… & chill! For the topping, you can’t go wrong with Puratos Whipping Cream & Beryl’s dark choco chips!

Cashew Walnut Brownies! made from top quality cocoa powder, flour, eggs, leavening and spices, topped with almonds & cashew, baked to chewy goodness!

Pizza pan cupcake! a twist on the traditional pancake, baked in muffin cups and topped with pepperoni & cheese!
